ITANAGAR: BJP State president Tapir Gao today warned those party leaders declaring themselves as party candidate for the ensuing Assembly election 2019. Gao said that BJP party is like an ocean and everyone willing to join are most welcome to serve the party.

“Where some of them are willfully in party only to contest election and get party ticket or to look down their leader colleague but no one can dilute the water of the ocean which everybody should understand,” Gao added.

He also said applying and asking for party ticket is not a sign of anti party by any individual but rather is a development and strengthening of party.

He said that almost all the assembly constituency of state have more than one or two candidate from BJP and the party ticket will be determined as per performances of the said party leader and who so ever may be.

“The attachment of the leader with grassroots party workers and cadres as well as general public and his works are some of the criteria for a good leader and leadership for the party,” Gao said.

Meanwhile, he also informed that former District Horticulture Officer, Tana Yami along with twenty prominent leaders of the Doimukh assembly constituency have joined the party with a motive to serve the party and society at large.
