TAWANG: The Arunachal Pradesh State Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) organized a 'Sainik Samman Karyakram' to remember those soldiers who had laid down their lives safeguarding the country at Galwan valley, Ladakh. The programme was held at Tawang war memorial here on Saturday.

Two minutes of silence was observed to pay homage to brave martyrs, furthermore, garlanding of photos and facilitation of ex-servicemen was held during the event on the day.

Addressing the gathering, BJYM president Ram Tajo remembered the twenty brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation at Galwan Valley and also to the martyrs of 1962 Sino-Indian war.

Speaking on the repeated incursion and claim over Arunachal Pradesh by the Chinese, Tajo said that China should never think about invading the State.

They (China) should be aware that the people of Arunachal Pradesh will never be a part of China, he said.

"Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India. China must know what the people of the state thinks about China before making any mistake to capture the State unlike Tibet," he said.

''China can never invade Arunachal Pradesh. We are proud Indians and we will never accept China,'' he added.

Among others present on the occasion were BJP Minority Morcha president Pema Nawong, BJYM general secretary Ritemso Manyu, along with PRI Leaders and ex-servicemen.
