ITANAGAR: Renowned Bollywood singer and music composer Mohit Chauhan in partnership with a Delhi-based NGO – NIVESH, has contributed Covid relief material worth Rs 1.50 crore to Arunachal Pradesh under 'Project Bajrangi, a Covid relief campaign.

The relief kit that included 50 oxygen concentrators, 1,250 Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) kits, 5000 N-95 masks and 5000 medical kits were handed over to Union Law and Justice minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday.

Besides medical items, the NGO has also contributed over 200 ration kits for folk musicians or the ones in need.

Established in 2006, NIVESH has been actively working with the central and state governments to create sustainable livelihoods for the needy, a press release informed on Tuesday.
