Bomdila Police Arrests Drug Peddler, 4 Kg Ganja Recovered

BOMDILA: In a major breakthrough, The Officer-in-Charge of Bomdila police station, K Dev and his team under the guidance of Raja Banthia, SP West Kameng, arrested one drug peddler – Dilip Gor (40) alias Kaka of Udalguri, Assam and recovered four kilograms of ganja and 20 grams of charas locally called ‘Black’, on Thursday. A case has been registered under BDL PS 28/19 u/s 20(b)/27 of NDPS Act.

Acting on information that few miscreants are committing robbery at the Highway, Dev and his team swung into action and arrested three persons identified as Dondu Sidisow, and Akho Sidisow from various parts of Bomdila. On being interrogated, they disclosed the source of the contraband substances.

Accordingly, Dev and his team raided the location from where Kaka was arrested and drugs recovered from his possession.

All the arrested persons were produced before the District and Session Judge.
