CBC Regional Office, Itanagar holds outreach programme on Har Ghar Tiranga

ITANAGAR: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office, Itanagar, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, today conducted a Mini Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme on Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign at VCS School in Itanagar.

The outreach programme is aimed at creating awareness about the campaign and conveying the message and the intent behind it. Chief Guest of the event N Suresh Babu, Chairman, Vivekananda Central School, Itanagar, on the occasion elaborately explained the importance of the National Flag and the flag code to the participants.

Rakesh Doley, Head of Office, CBC, Itanagar appealed to the participants to be a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign by hoisting the national flag from August 13 to 15. On the occasion, Tirangas were distributed among the participants.

'Har Ghar Tiranga' is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's independence. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly radio address `Mann Ki Baat` on July 31 last month, announced the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
