ITANAGAR: The SP (SIC) Anant Mital has informed that the CBI will be arriving in the state capital, Itanagar on Saturday. He said the case relating to the APPSC cash-for-job has been registered and the CBI will now take over the case.
He said the SIC will now not carry forward the investigation process as the case is being taken over by the CBI. However, detailed information regarding the cases and other assistance as per the need of the CBI will be provided by the SIC.
"But of course, as the case is related to our society and the state. It is our responsibility to cooperate and support wherever and whenever needed," he added.
He said the takeover of the case by the CBI came following the recommendation of the state government. So every piece of evidence and written record gathered by the SIC will be handed to the CBI.
