 ITANAGAR: Under the direction of Thaudam Sanamtum Mangang, Commandant 4th BN Indo-Tibetan Border Police the concluding programme of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, 'Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan,' was organized on Friday at a Government Middle school in Sangti village in Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh. Three gazetted officers, seven subordinate officers, 50 ORS G.P.C., G.B., School teachers, and local dignitaries of Sangti village participated enthusiastically along with the children.

On this occasion, Thaudam Sanamtum Mangang, Commandant, along with GPC, GB, and local citizens, unveiled the Shilaphalakam Oath of Panch Pran and Amrit Vatika which was established by planting 75 different species of plants under the Vasudha programme. The martyrdom of the martyred personnel of the Indian Army, Central Armed Police Force, and State Police Force was remembered.

The 4th BN ITBP informed that under this campaign, soil will be brought in 75,000 kalas from different villages of India and will be used to develop Amrit Vatika on the duty path in Delhi. Apart from this, a Shilaphalakam will also be in Delhi. The names of the martyrs of the country will be inscribed on it., stated a press release.
