COVID-19: Chakma leaders provide 2 passengers buses to local administration

BORDUMSA: Extending solidarity to the State government fighting the battle against the coronavirus and the social workers, Chakma leaders provided two passengers buses to the local administration.

"We have formally handed over the vehicles to the Extra Assistant Commissioner, Diyun on Thursday morning as a token of our assistance to the local administration who have been driving hard to combat the menace of the pandemic", said Protimoy Chakma, a social worker of Diyun.

"The buses procured on rental basis would be under the custody of the local administration and would be temporarily useful to carry the bulk returnees from various places of the country to their respective destinations in Bordumsa and Diyun circles," added the Chakma leader.
