YUPIA: Deputy Commissioner of Papum Pare Pige Ligu, who is also the chairman of district level implementation committee of Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Man-Dhan Yojna (PM-SYM), chaired a meeting for the unorganized workers and National Pension Scheme (NPS) for traders and self employment of the district, here on Friday. The meeting reviewed the progress of the pro-people schemes and reports on the schemes in the field level Committee Service Centres (CSC). Ligu urged the stakeholders to sensitize the people for enrollment under PM-SYM of unorganized target groups like ASHA, Anganwadi workers, masons, rickshaw pullers, self employed, SHG, brick kilns, rag pickers, street vendors, shop retailers, and other so that they reap the benefits of such schemes.
