Discussion held on launch of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: Tawang MLA Tsering Tashi chaired a meeting on Monday with all stakeholders in the border district to discuss the launch of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Seva Saptaah. The lawmaker, in his address, emphasised the initiatives aimed at raising public awareness about welfare schemes introduced by the union and state governments. The Seva Apke Dwar programme was also integrated into the launch programme. Tashi urged the officers to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach every individual and further stressed the need for strict monitoring at the grassroots level.

Tawang DC Kanki Darang, in his deliberations, called for continuous improvement, especially towards the saturation of schemes on the saturation tracker. EAC Choiki Dondup informed about the mentor secretary from the union government attending the launch on November 15. The IEC vehicle is set to tour all 87 gram panchayat segments to screen documentaries on government welfare schemes and to conduct awareness activities by January 24, next year, according to an official communiqué.
