PASIGHAT: Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu chaired the first quarter District-level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting of East Siang district at the DC's office conference hall here on Tuesday.

ZPC Olen Rome, ADC Tatdo Borang (HQ), HoDs and PRI members attended the meeting. DPO In-charge cum Member Secretary Nancy Yirang outlined the details aim and objectives of the meeting and HoDs spelt out in details of schemes taken up by them.

The DC reviewed the performance of all departments through detailed power-point presentations of various ongoing centrally and state government sponsored schemes and emphasized problem solving through discussions and assessing the actual extent of progress achieved in the implementation level.

He emphasized cooperation between PRI members, administration and project executing agencies for successful implementation, quality control and timely completion of all projects. Tayi Taggu  urged the heads of offices to create a people-friendly approach and render services sincerely and dedicatedly.

He further advised the working departments to come up with viable projects in such monitoring meetings for better outcome and effective implementation at ground level adding that timely monitoring at sub-divisional and circle levels were too essential.

During the monitoring meeting, ZPC Olen Rome urged the heads of departments to facilitate active participation of the PRI members who are more aware and well versed with the ground situation so as to make the project implementation more successful.
