DLSA conducts Lok Adalat held in Upper Siang

ITANAGAR: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Upper Siang conducted Lok Adalat at District Court Building wherein 27 numbers of pre- litigation cases and 2 numbers of criminal compoundable cases were taken up on Saturday at Yingkiong.

Out all cases 2 were disposed off and an total amount of Rs 2,99,100 was settled on the day. Secretary DLSA (JMFC-cum-Civil Judge) Upper Siang District, Mary Kamsi, was present as chairperson and Advocate Dipi Tasing as Member of Lok Adalat during the proceedings.

In addition to that a team of DLSA Upper Siang also organized a day long legal awareness camp under the aegis of "Sarkar Aapke Dwar" of District Administration, Upper Siang at Jengging for general public. Advocate Kabang Taron, Advocate Oyem Panyang along with PLV Agam Tadeng were present as resource person of the said camp.
