Honchun also called upon the trainees to be “hospitable” as hospitality is the hub on which the rest of the spokes of the wheel of life is made. He said, “Hospitality is charity, it is willingness to help; it is willingness to serve and thus build up one’s own life”. The Minister also assured whatever assistance possible to DBYC to continue with the many youth-empowerment programmes the Centre is always busy with.

He exhorted the students to remain in their places of work for a few years, as that would bring dividends. “Kindly do not leave your places of work after a month or two due to difficulties as this would defeat the purpose of skilling,” Director said.

Earlier, while welcoming everyone to the function, Parish Priest, Catholic Church, Itanagar Fr. Kamil Horo appreciated the staff and trainees of DBYC and advised them to keep up the name of Don Bosco through good behavior. He also led the trainees in prayer and invoked the blessings of the Almighty for safe journey and happy placement.
