Enforcement Directorate to set up its permanent sub-zonal office in Arunachal

ITANAGAR: The Directorate of Enforcement, a multi-disciplinary organization mandated with the investigation of offences of money laundering and violations of foreign exchange laws, has a plan to establish a permanent sub-zonal office in Itanagar. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Dharmendra was informed of the ED’s plan during his meeting with the special director (Eastern Region), Subhash Agrawal, at his civil secretariat office here on Friday. “I was informed of their plan to establish a permanent sub-zonal office of the Enforcement Directorate in Itanagar. The state government will provide necessary support and assistance in their plan of expansion,” the chief secretary said in X.
