Former Arunachal Education Minister Dera Natung remembered on his 20th Death Anniversary

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Minister for Environment & Forest, Mama Natung on Saturday paid floral tributes to former Education Minister of the State, late Dera Natung on his 20th death anniversary at the premises of Dera Natung Government College near here. DNGC Principal M.Q. Khan also paid floral tributes.

Speaking to the reporters, Natung said that late Dera Natung was the only Education Minister to transform the dynamics of Education sector in the State. He also paid a nodal role in introducing the EMRS (Eklavya Model Residential School) model in the State.

Besides being the president of ANSU (All Nyishi Students Union), late Natung was also a pioneer in social activities. He lived a very simple life and was very humble to everyone. He is a role model for youths, added the Minister.
