BORDUMSA: Defending champion Dumsa FC defeated Sengapather FC by 6-2 at the Independence Day Cup tournament being played here at Bordumsa general playground in Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh.
The seemingly tough episode witnessed the opponent driving hard for the supremacy in the second spell of the game but subsequently had to remain content with two goals only.
While team Dumsa known for its effective strategy swallowed the roaring opponent with ease and was more offensive since the early spell. Scoring 6 goals the victorious team maintained a safe place for the next while the loser team that failed to resist the opponent tempest was out of the tournament being played on a knock out basis.
The tournament despite the inclement weather witnessed an overwhelming crowd cheered by the magnificent display by the team Dumsa. According to the fixture of the tournament, team All Lekang FC (AL FC ) of Namsai would lock horns with the team Birsa Munda FC (BM FC) of Bordumsa.
The second day of the prize money Independence Cup tournament 2019 being underway at Bordumsa in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh witnessed the worst defeat of team Kingship Brothers FC who lost the event at the hands of team Rajanagar–III FC of Bordumsa by 9-0.
