ITBP jazz band mesmerizes locals & tourists at Ziro Festival of Music

ZIRO: The jazz band of ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police ) mesmerized the music lovers with their performance during the opening ceremony of Ziro Festival of Music on Tuesday.

The melodious performance of the ITBP jazz band was immensely lauded by the locals, distinguished personalities and tourists who gathered from different part of the country, stated a press release.

This is the first time in history of Ziro Festival of Music that a musical band of any Central force participated and the ITBP jazz band through its performance was able to draw the attention of the audience. The ITBP force, apart from guarding the border, also gets engaged in internal security, VIP security, anti-Naxal operations and disaster management duties. It has been a popular force among the locals as it always keeps on taking part in different sporting, cultural and other competitions with the locals from time to time, but this time ITBP has won the hearts of tourists from different countries also.

This outdoor music festival is organized in Ziro valley every year in the month of September for four days.
