Kipa Ajay elected as General Secretary of North East Football Association

Itanagar: Honorary Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh Football Academy (APFA) Kipa Ajay has been elected as General Secretary of North East Football Association (NEFA) by the members of all the northeastern football associations in its first general conference held in Shillong on Wednesday.

APFA in a statement on Thursday stated that, “We extend our heartiest congratulations to Kipa Ajay on his appointment and wish him more success in his new endeavor ahead. We believe that football in northeastern region will flourish and reach new heights under his leadership.”

The other office bearers of the NEFA include, Larsing Sawyan of Meghalaya as President, Menla Ethenpa of Sikkim as senior vice president, H N Bhrama of Assam as vice president, Lalnighinglova Hmar from Mizoram as vice president, Amit Choudhury of Tripura as treasurer, Neibou Sekhose of Nagaland as Joint Secretary and Rantan Kumar Singh from Manipur as Joint Secretary, the statement said.

The Northeast Football Association was formed this year by all the state football associations of the region to put forward collective efforts for the development of the game, the statement added.
