MLA Nyato Dukam flags off ambulance in Upper Subansiri district

ITANAGAR: Talhia MLA Nyato Dukam flagged off an ambulance along with several other facilities for the service of Taliha Assembly constituency in Upper Subansiri district at Jullang near here on Friday.

Addressing the media, Nyato Dukam said that the ambulance will now serve as a life-saving instrument for the people who have been facing problems in the transportation of patients.

"There will be a committee who will take care of the ambulance and I shall arrange the necessary support and cooperation for the driver and fuel. The committee will also ensure the proper use of the ambulance for the service of humanity," he said.

He said due to bad weather and poor road conditions, a good and dependable ambulance was necessary. The ambulance was procured from his fund for the people of his constituency.

"The pandemic is still not over and we have to take care of our family and ourselves. We should also guide our family members to maintain the COVID appropriate behaviour to contain the spread further," he added.
