Nabam Tuki seeks details of UCC from Union Minister Kiren Rijiju

ITANAGAR: Veteran Congress leader and former chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh Nabam Tuki has asked Union minister for Earth Sciences Kiren Rijiju to provide detailed information about the implications of the uniform civil code (UCC) in the northeastern states and the tribal communities of the country. Tuki represents the Sagalee constituency in the state assembly. “We all see a lot of discussion going on about UCC on media platforms after the government pushed for the same in the last few days,” Tuki, who is also the president of the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), said.
