National Integration Tour for students flagged off at Anini, Arunachal Pradesh

TEZPUR: A National Integration Tour under the aegis of the Indian Army for students from far-flung areas of the Dibang Valley was flagged off at Anini recently. The team comprises 15 students from various Government Higher Secondary Schools, Anini in Dibang Valley District, Arunachal Pradesh.

National Integration Tour is conducted from February 7 to 22, 2020 will be a novel experience for the children belonging to remote areas of the district. The students were privileged to visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan and interact with the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind. The students will be visiting historical monuments Delhi, Agra and Indian Military Academy located in Dehradun, stated a release. The tour will provide the students with an avenue to explore unparalleled exposure to the rich and varied cultural heritage of India and inspire young minds to join the Indian Army. The parents, teachers and local administration appreciated the initiative of the Army for giving such meaningful exposure for the underprivileged students.
