ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh did not report any fresh COVID-19 cases for the fourth consecutively day, while the caseload remained at 16,836. The number of recoveries stands at 16,775. The State has five active COVID-19 cases, while 56 people have succumbed to the infection so far. The recovery rate has touched 99.63 per cent, while the positivity ratio stands at 0.02 per cent and the fatality rate at 0.33 per cent. Namsai district has the highest number of active cases at four. Altogether, 4,03,950 samples have been tested for COVID-19, including 465 on Monday, said State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa here on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, of the total 26,494 vaccinated persons, in the State, 21,450 Healthcare workers received both the first and second doses of the jab. On the other hand, as many as 5,494 frontline workers are to be inoculated with the first dose, said State Immunization Officer Dimong Padung.
