No fresh COVID-19 case reported in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh did not report any fresh COVID-19 case for the second consecutive day on Sunday, while four people have been cured of the disease on Saturday, pushing the total recoveries in the north-eastern State to 55,014, a senior health official said here.

The total caseload in the State remained at 55,320 while the number of active cases dipped to 26, the official said. The death toll in the frontier State remained at 280 as no fresh fatality due to the infection was reported in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said.

State Immunization Officer Dr Dimong Padung said 14,47,781 people have been inoculated so far including 1,101 on Saturday.
