No fresh COVID cases reported in Arunachal Pradesh, tally at 16,831

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh did not report any COVID-19 case in the past 24 hours, while the total caseload in the State remained at 16,831.

Meanwhile, one more person recupuretated from the disease on Tuesday taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 16,771, said State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa on Wednesday.

Currently, the State has four active COVID-19 cases, while 56 people have succumbed to the infection so far.

The recovery rate in the State has touched 99.64 per cent, while the positivity ratio stands at 0.02 per cent and the fatality rate at 0.33 per cent. Altogether, 3,97,631 samples have been tested for COVID-19, including 593 on Tuesday, added Dr Jampa.

Meanwhile, State Immunization Officer (SIO) Dimong Padung informed that 20,280 Health workers have received vaccine shots so far in the State.
