‘No Tobacco Zone’ Signboard Unveiled By Swetika Sachan

AALO: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan on Thursday unveiled the “No Tobacco Zone Signboard” and attended the culmination of Ayushman Bharat Pakhwara ceremony at General Hospital Aalo.

Sachan expressed her contentment on the way the national flagship programme has been handled by the departments in the district.

“This programme can really ameliorate the condition and woes of the people,” she said while adding that the present need is to impose strict actions against the defaulters to keep the hospital clean.

DMO Dr Moli Riba lauded the effort of the district administration and ICDS department for putting their fund and resources for development of the hospital. He said that the ‘No Tobacco Zone’ was necessitated to control spitting and nuisance under the influence of liquor by the youths in the dead of night in the hospital.
