NSS unit organized a door-to-door awareness campaign on COVID-19

ZIRO: The NSS units of Saint Claret College, Ziro, organized a door-to-door awareness campaign on COVID-19 at Kalung village, Ziro, here on Thursday.

The NSS volunteers displayed charts and pictures on different aspects related to the COVID-19 issue to create awareness among the villagers.

During the sessions, the volunteers interacted with the people and informed them about the situation created by the pandemic. They also discussed strategies on tackling the crisis.

While explaining the importance of wearing masks and washing hands with soap frequently, the volunteers also distributed free masks and soaps to the villagers.

The awareness campaign was well received and appreciated by the inhabitants of Kalung village.
