One COVID positive case reported at Lohit district in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: One person tested positive for COVID-19 at Lohit district in Arunachal Pradesh, pushing the caseload to 16,830. The asymptomatic case was reported from Lohit district and diagnosed through Rapid Antigen Test. Meanwhile, two persons recupuretated on Saturday taking the recoveries to 16,767, said State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa. The State has seven active cases, while 56 people have succumbed to the infection so far. The recovery rate in the state has touched 99.62 per cent, while the positivity ratio stands at 0.04 per cent and the fatality rate at 0.33 per cent.

Altogether, 3,95,795 samples have been tested for Covid-19, including 595 on Saturday, the SSO said. The CCR has the highest number of active cases at two.

Meanwhile,19,142 health workers, have received vaccine shots so far including, 483 on Saturday, said SIO Dimong Padung.
