Pavement Quality Concrete road works begin in Pasighat

PASIGHAT: Commencement of Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) work for smart roads for Pasighat Smart City was jointly kicked off here on Wednesday by Pasighat East MLA Kaling Moyong and Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu.

The programme was also attended by CEO of Pasighat Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) Majuli Komut, prominent public leader Asar Padun, departmental engineers and representatives of Project Management Consultant (PMC) M/s Sri Ram Enterprises, Bhagalpur.

MLA Moyong instructed to executing agencies to maintain quality work till completion and to ensure durability and appreciated the PSCDCL and PMC team for their dedication.

DC Tayi Taggu assured to extend all possible help and cooperation to PSCDCL for progress of the work.

CEO Komut informed the visiting team that laying of PQC on Smart Road No-19 stretching from Mirmir Tinali to Pasighat Ledum Tene (PLT) road via Botanical garden was selected on pilot mode out of 27 smart roads as work has gained momentum here and also in other roads as well.

She sought help from the district administration for regulating the traffic by sealing off at the stretch of road wherever necessary and also issuance of traffic advisory at the site from time to time.
