Police At Work To Crack Cases: Arunachal Pradesh DGP SBK Singh

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh DGP SBK Singh said that the CBI has their own reasons to backtrack from the case of Ngurang Pinch, Toko Yame and Ojing Tayeng but the State police never stopped the investigation. Singh said this while addressing reporters at the police headquarters here on Thursday.

“We have finished the charge-sheet of the Toko Yame case and very soon it will be submitted in the court of law,” Singh said adding that in the Ngurang Pinch case, the department have conducted lie-detector tests on 14 persons.

He said that the department has continued the investigation and the CBI angle came only because of the demand of the family members.

In regard to the Ojijng Tayeng murder case, SBK Singh said that all the scientific investigation has been done but is missing a link to crack the case. He urged the public to come forward with any information on the matter if there is any. “The person who will provide the information on the Ojing Tayeng case will be rewarded Rs 3 lakh and at the same time the details of the informer will be kept secret,” he said.
