ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh unit of BJP president Biyuram Wahge on Wednesday directed the officers of Pakke-Kessang district to work in a coordinated manner to ensure that all works taken up in the district are completed in a time-bound manner. Wahge, who represents Pakke-Kessang constituency in the state Assembly, expressed happiness over the progress of all infrastructure development works in the district during an inspection of the ongoing construction sites of the Mini Secretariat and other buildings at Lemmi, the district headquarters.
Deputy Commissioner Tayek Pado, departmental heads, panchayat leaders, and a host of officers and officials accompanied the MLA during the inspection. Interacting with the DC, the executing agency of the projects, and departmental heads, Wahge said that the infrastructure, once completed, would be an important asset for the district and the state as a whole. He thanked Chief Minister Pema Khandu for his support for all-round development in the nascent district.
The DC informed that construction work is progressing very fast and that about 90 per cent of the construction work has been completed except for the mini-secretariat building. He instructed the executing agency to connect water supply and electricity at the earliest so that accommodation problems for the officers and officials would be solved, a communiqué informed here.
