Sericulture A Self-Sustaining Venture: Arunachal Trade & Commerce Minister Tumke Bagra

Itanagar: Sericulture is one of the sectors that could be self-sustaining venture, said Arunachal Pradesh Industry, Textiles Handicraft, Skill Development and Trade & Commerce Minister Tumke Bagra and advocated forming tangible schemes. Addressing a development meeting with head of departments at Aalo in West Siang district, Bagra stressed on availability of doctors in posting their places for the patients not to suffer during peak season of ailments.

Responding to plea for establishments of mini secretariat, ITI and other infrastructures, he said that land scarcity was posing major problem and many government land were still not acquired. Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak said that state government has done away with piece meal basis schemes and set a target to submit all need based schemes. He asked officers not to prepare schemes at individual level and assured all effort to develop Aalo town in West Siang district.

He also announced Rs 10 lakh for taking up toilets and other utilities for proposed women police station at Aalo.

Aalo East MLA Kento Jini said that a vision plan to revive the lost glory of oldest district headquarters Aalo has been drawn and urged all to work as a team to fulfil the dream. He insisted on transparency, work quality, consultation and fairness in every works, an official release informed.
