ITANAGAR: Several districts in Arunachal Pradesh are likely to face power crisis in the next couple of days as the 132 KV Daporijo-Aalo transmission line tripped at around 2.30 am on Sunday.
Despite repeated attempts by technicians, the line fault could not be traced out, a power department official said here on Monday. The official said there would be no power supply in West Siang, Siang, East Siang, Upper Siang, Lower Siang, Namsai, Lohit and Lower Dibang Valley.
Earlier, the line was test charged after seeking approval from the State Load Dispatch Centre after isolating downstream but it instantly tripped. The department has requested consumers to bear the inconvenience.
