ITANAGAR: Single-day recoveries outnumbered fresh COVID-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh, as 38 more people recuperated from the disease on Thursday, while 32 new infections were registered in the northeastern state, a senior health official said here on Friday. The new cases pushed the virus tally to 54,844, the official said. As many as 54,146 people have recovered from the disease thus far in the state, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said. The recovery rate among COVID-19 patients remained at 98.73 per cent while the active percentage at 0.76, he said.
