Itanagar: Melodious numbers echoed at the Siddhartha Hall here as seven aspirants competed in the fourth elimination round of the maiden Arunachal Divyangjan Talent Hunt contest here on Friday.

Chief judge Pebi Ado (Bamang) assisted by judges Tadar Api and Chera Taring faced a tough challenge while a large gathering, including Arunachal Divyangjan Welfare Society (ADWS) president Patung Tong, ADWS (youth wing) president Talam Takar, secretary Robin Natung, overall in-charge Godak Tailong, Yama Taksing, Yalar Liruk greeted them with thunderous applause.

However, one was eliminated, leaving six contestants to vie for the honour.

Social worker Tadar Akap as the chief guest lauded the initiative, saying that Divyangjans are equally talented as proved by their performances.

Interestingly, many able-bodied parents and students were present to encourage them. A few tiny tots seen dancing to the tune of songs.

This being the first-ever show to bring the talented Divyangjans to limelight, Arunachalee society needs to pitch in their support as they are indivisible part of the society as categorically told by former lawmaker Pani Taram during the third elimination round at the same venue recently.
