State-Level Bamin Tani Memorial Badminton Tournament Begins at Ziro

ZIRO: The 5th edition of state-level Bamin Tani Memorial Badminton Tournament got off to a flying start here at the multipurpose indoor stadium on Friday.

Organized by the alumni 2007-08 batch of Dani Kunia Government Higher Secondary School, Ziro, in memory of Late Bamin Tani, the former principal of the school, Bamin Tani Memorial Badminton tournament this year has a total of 186 shuttlers from across the State contesting for the top spot.

Arunachal State Badminton Association secretary, Bamang Tago, who attended the inaugural function as chief guest, in his speech, appreciated the alumni batch of the school for organizing the competition every year in a befitting manner and promoting the sport of badminton amongst all, especially the youths and students.
