Tirap Administration conducted Sarkar Aapke Dwar at Kaimai

Itanagar: Tirap district administration on Friday conducted the seventh phase of the second session of Sarkar Aapke Dwar (Administration at your doorstep) at Kaimai village, 16 kms from Khonsa, the district headquarters.

A total of 728 beneficiaries from the village were benefitted with various schemes under Prime Minister and Chief Minister’s flagship program.

Speaking on the occasion, Tirap DC PN Thungon briefed the concept and objectives of conducting Sarkar Apke Dwar (SAD) and the services being provided at the doorsteps through various departments, an official communiqué informed.

He urged all the villagers to take advantage of the flagship programs and avail the opportunity.

The DC also appealed the grassroots workers, panchayat members, gaon burahs, religious leader, ASHAs workers, Anganwadi workers, students’ leaders and youth leaders of the district to make wide publicity and create public awareness among the villagers to attend such important program and avail the schemes.

The DC also distributed ST certificates, PRC and birth certificates besides LED bulbs to the beneficiaries on the spot.

Chief gaon burha Khamwang Lowang, youth leaders Tawang Wangsa, Tingwang Hosai and Wanghang Wangsu and panchayat leaders of Kaimai villages appreciated the district administration and other government departments for conducting the SAD and providing various schemes in doorsteps in a outreach region, the communiqué added.
