Traffic Regulation in front of Banks: Itanagar DC Komkar Dulom seeks public support

ITANAGAR: Deputy Commissioner of Itanagar Capital Region (ICR) Komkar Dulom held a meeting with the representatives from various banks and also the Traffic department to bring out modalities to check traffic congestion and also to regulate parking especially in front of banks, at the DC's office recently.

The DC sought cooperation from the bank authorities to develop the parking spaces near the banks, placing of placards for parking, banners etc., under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

He urged them to work along with the district administration to check the nuisance of haphazard parking especially in front of banks during office hours. Many other strategies for better management of traffic were also discussed in detail during the meeting.

The DC also urged the denizens of ICR to cooperate with the district administration and to abide by the traffic rules. He also said that it is the social responsibility of every individual to make ICR a beautiful place to live in, adding that traffic regulation would definitely contribute a lot towards it. The DC requested the denizens to develop proper parking sense whenever the vehicles are being parked at any place.
