Training for vote counting held at Khonsa in Tirap under Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Hakresha Kri

ITANAGAR: A training program regarding the counting of EVM, VVPAT, postal ballots and ETBPS was conducted at Khonsa in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Monday. Extra assistant Commissioner (EAC) Hakresha Kri and two trainers from the Education department imparted the training to all the counting officers and staff, an official communiqué informed.

Earlier, the training program was started with the observation of two-minute silence in the mark of respect to Rakesh Pangging and the officials present prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

EAC Kri in his condolence message said that Rakesh Pangging was engaged in election counting Suvidha purpose but his untimely and sudden demised has kept the district officials in shock. He termed his death as an irreparable loss for the district as a whole and education department in particular.
