Two NSCN (R) cadres apprehended at Kharsang in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar: Based on specific input regarding the movement of four armed NSCN (R) cadres in General area of Longtom, the army unit under Dao Division launched an operation in Kharsang area of Arunachal Pradesh and apprehended two NSCN (R) cadres.

The two apprehended cadres were identified as SS CPL Mahesh Lashkar, SS CPL Nungkam Ronrang,

The security personnel also recovered one .22 mm pistol FM, .22 mm pistol FM (pistol no 847), three magazines, four .32mm live ammunition, two .22mm live ammunition, two .5.56mm live ammunition, one Samsung smart mobile and one basic mobile phones from their possession.

Meanwhile, an FIR being lodged at Kharsang Police station in this regard.
