ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has urged the Health department to make best use of all available manpower and ensure optimal utilization of funds in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Convening a meeting with the officials of the Health department to discuss strategies to contain the spread of the disease in the State, the Chief Minister said that health of the people is the top priority and all manpower and resources would be mobilized accordingly. Assuring the Department of all support, Khandu urged the officials to continuously check for any malpractices especially in the time of crisis so that there is no compromise on health service delivery, an official communiqué informed here.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Health Minister Alo Libang. Also present in the meeting were officials from the Finance department and the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS), the communiqué added.
