ROING: "The entire district is well prepared to contain the spread of the pandemic," said Arunachal Pradesh Health Minister Alo Libang after inspecting the the COVID-19 isolation ward and COVID-19 ward for confirmed positive mild cases at the Dedicated COVID-19 Healthcare Centre (DCHC) here on Thursday.
He was accompanied by Arunachal East MP Tapir Gao, State Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, Health Secretary P Parthiban, Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom and SP SK Sain. The team also inspected the designated TrueNat machine installation room and also the area of the district hospital for prospects of future upgradation.
DMO Dr. Radesh Tatan apprised the team about the status of availability of PPEs, VTMs and other equipment in the hospital.
MP Tapir Gao assured an aid of Rupees 1 lakh from his MPLAD fund to fight against the pandemic in Lower Dibang Valley district during a meeting at the Circuit House, here.
Meanwhile, Libang informed that that the team has visited different districts of the eastern constituency to assist the health workers, district administration and also plan out strategy to contain the spread of pandemic.
Libang along with MP Tapir Gao and CS Naresh Kumar has already visited Khonsa, Tezu, Roing, Changlang, Namsai and Miao to get a report on the problems faced by health workers as well as the public.
