West Siang District Election Officer Swetika Sachan reviews final preparation

Itanagar: West Siang District Election Officer (DEO) Swetika Sachan on Wednesday took final round of review meeting with all assistant returning officers (AROs) in presence of Election Observers on key issues to ensure fair and peaceful counting of votes on Thursday. The General Observer Darpan Jain stress on regulating the entry of polling agents constituency wise to avoid rush inside the counting hall, facilities inside counting premises and reinforcements of reserve counting officials as counting process may go beyond midnight.

Interacting with the micro observers in another round of meeting, ECI observer Dr Mohan Lal Yadav asked all micro observers to discharge their duties entrusted to them effectively as they would be working on behalf of the observers from ECI.

A review and final briefings to all PB supervisors, AROs and strong room in charges were given by DC Lower Siang A K Singh, an official communique informed.
