World Consumer Rights Day: Event on consumer rights held in Roing

ROING: The district Department of Legal Metrology & Consumers Affairs (DLMCA) organized the World Consumer Rights Day at the General Cooperative Society (GCS) complex near here recently.

Chairman of GCS Miri Linggi in his short speech advised the traders to follow the guidelines and rules of the Consumer Protection Act and provide quality products and services to the consumers. He also briefed the trading community of the town about various consumer rights and responsibilities. Earlier on the day, a Sarkar Aapke Dwar camp was also organized by the district administration in the remote circle headquarter of Desali. The camp was inaugurated by ZPM Mama Miso in the presence of Circle Officer Chuku Taba, GBs, government staff and public.
