10 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Barpeta

BARPETA: Ten persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. Five persons of the same family tested positive. On July 14, the swab test of Mamata Badyakar came positive. After that the swab samples of her family members were taken and on Thursday, Rajdeep Badyakar (1), Bhadreswar Badyakar (65), Suchitra Badyakar (22), Sabita Badyakar (6) and Nandini Badyakar (2) tested positive. Again, total five people of the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) tested positive. They are operation theatre technician Manas Pratim Deka (26), ICU technician Arif Arafat, physiotherapists Utpal Haloi and Rupam Haloi, and Debajit Kalita (38), vaccine manager of the office of the Additional Chief Health Officer (Welfare).
