10th biennial general conference conducted by All Assam Students’ Union (AASU)

SARUPATHAR: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) of Dhansiri Subdivision in Golaghat district conducted its 10th biennial general conference in Sewaguri field under Dhansiri Subdivision at Sarupathar.

The inaugural session was graced by the principal of Sarupathar college Dr Siddheswer Bora as the conference host. In his address Dr Bora urged youngsters to first seek God’s blessing in everything they do. He also encouraged students to work hard in order to achieve their dreams.

Dr Bora further encouraged educated youths to take the initiative to lead people in the right direction and reminded the students that there was no substitute to hard work. He urged them to work hard with commitment and determination to achieve their goals.

Moreover, on his arrival the conference host also unfurled the Union flag. Cultural shows were performed by school and college students of Dhansiri Subdivision. The introductory session will be held on Tuesday where chief guest Samujjal Bhattacharya, the chief advisor of AASU and many other dignitaries will take part.
