Further, the organizations demanded the enhancement of ST reserved LACs in BTR. The meeting also highlighted that the Bodos in Gohpur in Sonitpur district and other areas of Assam must be kept intact with the LACs instead of bifurcating to microscopic minority.

The meeting also unanimously resolved to submit to the Election Commission a memorandum with joint signatures of 13 organizations, community leaders and intellectuals on the key demands that include creation of Udalguri Parliament Constituency within coterminous LACs of BTR only, increasing ST reserved LACs in BTR up to 10 ST reserved seats and keeping intact Bodo dominated areas in the draft delimitation of LACs in Assam without bifurcation in microscopic population.
