18 Congress party workers of Thowra resign

DEMOW: After Sushanta Borgohain joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress party workers of Thowra are resigning from their respective posts. According to sources, a total of 18 Congress party workers of Thowra resigned from their primary membership of Indian National Congress (INC) and organizational portfolios on Friday. Bimal Majumdar, general secretary of Thowra Block Congress Committee as well as a senior Congress worker, and Gopal Pandey Sarma, secretary of Thowra Block Congress Committee, resigned from their primary membership of Indian National Congress (INC)
