19 new COVID-19 cases in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: With the detection of another 19 cases on Sunday, the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Tinsukia district has increased to 40. These 19 people were all under quarantine in various institutional quarantine centres across the district. This apart, four more positive patients hailing from Tinsukia district who were quarantined in Jorhat are undergoing treatment at JMCH.

The19 positive persons have been identified as Niki Limbu (35), Biplab Kurmi (19), Arvind Rai (19), Pallab Moran (22), Borbil Limbu (21), Ramesh Munda (24), Swapan Balmiki (30), Jagdish Buragohain (19), Bishma Moran (26), Abhijit Borah (21), Bijit Dhanur (21), Pinku Chetry (30), Bikash Gurung (25),Salmoni Buttin (25), Rintu Dangaria (18), Ranadeep Chetia (18), Ramesh Bakshi (31), Balkrishnan (57) and Bukul Jyuti Gogoi (27).

All the patients are undergoing treatment at GNB Civil Hospital, Tinsukia after they were brought from the respective quarantine centres in the district.
