2 more die of COVID in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Two persons lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Thursday. They have been identified as Sidheswar Baishya (59), resident of Tezpur (died at Hayat Hospital, Guwahati) and Kalia Kalita (85), resident of Jamugurihat in Sonitpur district died at TMCH, taking the death toll to 210 in the district during the second wave of the pandemic.

Altogether 7,373 tests were done across the district on Thursday out of which 6,677 were RAT and rest RT-PCR and among the new 116 positive cases found, 106 cases were from RAT and 10 from RT-PCR.
