2 more die of COVID in Sonitpur district, new cases 108

TEZPUR: Two persons lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Monday. They have been identified as Binda Tiwari (45), resident of Panpur, Jamugurihat and Sakina Begum (58), resident of Baligaon, Balipara in Sonitpur district, who died at TMCH, taking the death toll to 197 in the district during the second wave of the pandemic. Altogether 7,287 tests were done across the district on Monday out of which 6,686 were RAT and rest RT-PCR and among the new 108 positive cases found, 82 cases were from RAT and 26 from RT-PCR.
